Yonnedara by juzztice

This is a commission of Yonnedara, a draconic succubus, done by the highly talented juzztice. It has been posted with his permission.

In this image, Yonnedara is welcoming a new visitor, with her pet popping out in the background. Adventurers were only more than happy to help build that kings' ransom of loot.

Despite being such a beauty, Yonnedara's actually a bit lonely, and in need of interaction. Her story is that she was captured many years ago by a group of nobles and magically coerced into building a dungeon-like series of challenges beneath a city. The confining magic has since worn off, granting her freedom, but she's afraid to go out, due to the long confinement, so she remains inside the labyrinth. She prefers the familiarity of the place she made.

She isn’t always alone. The same people whom trapped her sometimes send prisoners down into the maze. If the prisoners make it to her (past all her ingenious death traps) she'll try to talk with them. Unfortunately, they usually run away, because her kind has such a terribly poor reputation- Succubae are deadly, and they’re man-eaters in more than just nickname. Cats eat mice; Succubae eat people. It's frightening, but true.

Yonnedara's not evil, however. In a way, she's essentially the giant boss monster at the end of the dungeon. Interestingly, anyone who talks to her is immediately taken off the menu and happily shown a safe way out of the place. Try that for a twist!

The cute succubus is highly intellectual and enjoys playing any sort of challenge, be it games like chess, checkers, shogi, or even Twenty Questions. She particularly loves guessing games. Her mind is knife-sharp, like a prosecuting attorney's, but she comes across as friendly and nice. Her seclusion has left her a touch unable to hold normal conversations, so she'll sometimes change subjects without realizing it. She's had a little too much time to think by herself.

She currently resides in a labyrinth deep underneath the city of Negav.
